Ten minutes of madness with Lee “Scratch” Perry, Jamaican music’s most celebrated producer, has been through more creative rebirths than most artists. At 73 years of age, he is currently enjoying another. His first hit was Return of Django, a brassy rocksteady instrumental targeted at British skinheads. Circa 1970, he became a mentor to Bob Marley’s Wailers, then a middle-ranking ska trio. In an intense, fractious relationship, Perry convinced Marley to sing about the poverty of Trench Town and his Rastafarian beliefs. Together, they set the blueprint for roots reggae and Marley’s stardom. Perry was also arguably dub’s first architect, inventing the remix with the most basic of studio technology. . Throughout an erratic career, Perry has walked the wire between genius and madness. He has never stayed in one place too long. He cut his last two truly great albums in London in the late 1980s, alongside On-U Sound supremo, Adrian Sherwood. Since then, he has lived with his Swiss wife in rustic seclusion near Zurich, releasing a stream of European productions, few of which have greatly enhanced his legacy. His new album, The Mighty Upsetter (released in the UK on Octobre 20th, 2008), is a fabulous rematch with Sherwood, ingeniously laced through with echoes of vintage Black Ark basslines, melodies and rhythms. He still believes, he says, in music as a magic ritual. However, Perry unquestionably cultivated that air of shamanism to frighten off the cut-throats and looters who . . .

The link to download this house is over here: www. thesims3. com Yes, I finally finished part 3 of my ‘Coloured Series’, Black and White!!! Warning, this house may cause Sensory Deprivation! I went for the quick and easy approach to furnish the 2 bedrooms and mixed and matched the white and black of one room and reversed it for the other, looks very cool I reckon. =] Nothing really special or worth discussing except for the change I made in the Master Bedroom, didn’t feel right that there wasn’t a bathroom close to the bedrooms so I made the ensuite accessible for them too. Yet again I forgot to leave the speed of the fly thru at the end of the vid alone so it’s super quick, but you get to see me make the rooms so it’s not much of a big deal. Finally, next part for my series will be red, and the feature will be. . . I dunno, I haven’t decided yet. If you guys have any ideas, Please comment them to me, and who knows, maybe your feature will be featured! Each installment of my ‘Colour Series’ will have a new feature that I will use for the next installment, so Green will have an amalgamation of all the previous houses, effectively making it a super house! Blue has the colour theme. Orange has the pond. Black and White has the lowered living room. It’s Black, It’s White! costs $129 000 furnished and $103 000 unfurnished. It took around 4 hours to build and furnish. Enjoy!

The link to download this house is over here: www. thesims3. com Yes, I finally finished part 3 of my ‘Coloured Series’, Black and White!!! Warning, this house may cause Sensory Deprivation! Being the moronic moron that I am, I forgot to save the progress I made from the previous part,so I had to re-do the floors and walls and made slight changes here and there. Nothing drastic but noticable. I don’t know why the wallpaper in the 2 bedrooms upstairs is so reflective, but its very annoying and I’m pretty sure that certain wallpaper isn’t normally reflective. On top of that, floors and walls decided they wanted to have that odd question mark error thing which created unwanted fixing. I have to say Black/White furnishes might just be my favourite so far. But I’m sure Green/ Yellow will reign supreme! I tried lowering the kitchen too but I didn’t have enough space to work with. The kitchen and dining looks like The Spiker Cannon’s kitchen and dining set.
