I have had the pleasure of being in Diana Bennett Wirtz Hand drafting class’s where she taught the techniques she lays out in her book. When I first started I couldn’t draw a straight line and told her I did not think I would be able to create anything near as wonderful; but after following her directions, my skill grew quickly. There is no other book out there that can come close nor has as much detail in this craft. You will not be disappointed. This is a must buy book!

  3. I have had the pleasure of being a student of Diana Bennett Wirtz, and was able to learn her drafting techniques first hand. Her style is very unique and worth learning. She has a style that will push all your drafting and renderings to the next level. The techniques she shows you in the book are not hard to learn and you won’t be disappointed. She has a beautiful, stylized architectural handwriting throughout the book which is easy to trace until you learn it and can do it on your own. The book is full of stylized examples for everything from plants to drapes and even floor rugs. It’s great for anyone who wants to take their architectural drafting and push it to describe the interiors better.
